Gail M. Wynn, M.D., FACS

Dr. Gail Wynn is a board-certified general surgeon with a special interest in weight loss surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery. She did her medical training at Southern Illinois University, where graduated with honors, and came to Delaware to complete her surgical training at the Medical Center of Delaware.

Dr. Wynn is the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington and the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark.

Dr. Wynn was voted "Top Surgeon" for 2007 in Delaware Today magazine.

Along with her partners, Drs. Irgau, Peters, and Sahm, she is committed to providing excellent surgical care and a comprehensive surgical weight loss program in a caring, compassionate environment.

Dr. Wynn was born in Oakland, California and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She is married with three children, Josette, Sophia and Mia. In her spare time, Dr. Wynn enjoys such sports as cycling, hiking, and playing basketball. Her other interests include art and travel.
